The 2017 Mountainside Viognier wins Gold at the Western Victorian Wine Challenge
Mountainside Wines is pleased to announce that its 2017 Viognier won a gold medal and the Trophy for Best in Class in the Chardonnay and Other White Wines category in the 2018 Western Victorian Wine Challenge.
This year’s Western Victorian Wine Challenge received 165 entries across 16 categories with more than 70% of wines entered receiving a medal. This means the wines made in the Grampians wine region are of an extremely high standard which means great wines for consumers.
Platters
Visitors can enjoy a platter of local foods produced across the Grampians region.
Platters can be enjoyed in the cellar door or at one of the table settings scattered across the property. Alternatively, visitors can take picnic rugs and cushions and find a space where they can enjoy a glass of wine with their platter.
Tour and Tastings
Here at Mountainside Wines visitors can take a tour of the vineyards and winery with the owner which is then followed by a personalized tasting of the wines grown and made on site.
