The Rotundone Road pack contains one bottle of each of the 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2019 Shiraz wines.
Rotundone is the chemical compound found in the skin of red grapes responsible for the peppery aromas and flavours of Shiraz. It is particularly prominent in cool climate grown Shiraz and research conducted by the Australian Wine Research Institute shows that Shiraz grown along the Rotundone Road Shiraz Adventure has the highest concentration of rotundone in Australia. Shiraz is a signature variety of wine grown here in the Grampians, a cool climate wine growing region and showcases the peppery flavours of rotundone.
